About us

The DVV International Georgia Country Office was established in 2002. Having implemented various activities to promote Adult Learning and Education (ALE) in Georgia, DVV International strives:

  • To improve the framework for ALE i.e providing advice and facilitating international exchange on strategies, laws and financing  of ALE
  • Develop capacity for ALE i.e. develop programs for the professionalisation  of ALE trainers and strengthen  ALE institutions
  • Pilot innovative ALE approaches to showcase how individuals and communities benefit from ALE by developing their knowledge and skills.

One of the key achievements of DVV International in Georgia is the creation of 15 ALE centres  in smaller municipalities all over the country.
