"SDG Stop in Sevan" youth forum was the final event that concluded the "Adult Education for Sustainable Development Goals" campaign. The forum was held on November 27, at the Sevan Business Center.The forum was attended by 8 youth groups from different regions of the Republic of Armenia and capital Yerevan. They represented Universities, NGOs, rural communities.
The one-day event allowed the participants a rapid immersion into the SDGs and Agenda 2030 generally. Visualization, brainstorming, idea generation were used as tools to introduce SDGs, their local and global context to the attending young people. The teams developed and presented project ideas that could solve a local SDG issue.
The main prize of the Idea Competition was awarded to the Tsovagyugh youth group that focused at SDG 4 - "Quality Education" through a project that proposed to restore and reopen the community culture center.
The winner of the "Most Creative Idea" nomination was the team of " Improve Our Village " NGO and their idea was aimed at SDG 13, i.e. resilience climate change through waste recycling.
The "Participant Support " prize was awarded to "Sevan youth club" team, and their idea in support of SDG 7 with a goal to illuminate the monuments and cultural areas of community, through clean energy.
